Come and hunt on a private block in the Waioeka Gorge, which backs onto the beautiful Ureweras! 

You can enjoy the use of 150 hectares of hunting in the Waioeka!

This block is ideal for the first time hunter.

Also there are plenty of tracks for horse treeking, and for tramping

The block is surrounded by pines on three sides and native bush " Ureweras" are on the back boundary.

Fish and Game Adventures is the ideal block for hunting Red and Fallow deer in mean, hard country (behind the wire). We have 5 jump ins where wild deer can jump in but cant get out. .

Deer are attracted close to the fence during the roar.

 Hunters can expect support from management for retrieval  and gutting , also the breaking down of any animals that are shot.We also have a chiller to process your catch in.

There are plenty of good mountable heads - both Fallow and Reds, so hunters are advised not to shoot the first animals that they see. We also have wild pigs come in attracted buy some domestic sows that we put there to add to the fun.So dont shoot the sows with yellow tags in there ears.

Waioeka river has plenty of Rainbow Trout and the fishing is with a fly. There is a large swimming hole that is a short distance from the main camping site. We do tubing approx 2 kms up the river, when the river is at a suitable height.

 During the day between hunts, hunters can relax either with playing darts (if you are a serious player you may want to bring your own darts) or try your luck at clay shooting you may want to bring your own gun, whoever we have a gun you can use. There is a small charge for these activitys.
